Neither! I meant exactly what I said but I think you miss read it. My response was the total opposite of a poke and I am very glad you posted it.
Your situation is fully meaningful and totally supports the fact that when other people jump in and say to somebody "you pay $XXX that is crazy since I only pay $YYY". Rates for different people can not be compared. Your example is the perfect demonstration of why they can not be compared for different people since the only thing that changed for you was your location.

All is good!

Has come down a lot in the past few years by being more responsible and keeping my record clean, although the at-fault is a complete fluke of a situation that is hard to believe, and will be off my record I believe in one more year.

I'll be 25 in a month and a half. I'm going to start shopping tomorrow for different rates. Does anybody have a good broker they want to refer me to?

yup, insurance is Brampton is ridiculously high regardless of what you're driving. It's even harder for young people like myself to insure a vehicle. I have friends my age who were quoted >= $600/month for something like an old Acura Integra.

Wow that is cheap. Guelph must have good rates in general I'm thinking. Some places in ON 21 years old is all you need for $200 rate, especially on a rwd sports car.

Try calling around that seems a little high for a bundle.

Though this will take up a lot of your time since you've gotta get quotes on a lot of different things and give them a lot of info

BRZ/FRS: BRZ

AGE: just turned 25

when I first purchase my BRZ, I shopped around for quotes
COOP was the highest at 498 a month
I stayed with state farm which was 270 a month, then dropped to 240 a month, then I turned 25 and moved the BRZ to "leisure" which dropped it again to 47 a month.
same rules as always, 12000km a year max, etc etc
