The fall race is still on and usually brings in much racers & spectators.
And this explains how they'll get around the noise by-laws.

"We will create a state-of-the-art circuit designed for an industry experiencing a revolution," says Gad Bitton. "With the electrification of prestige brands and the end of new gas-powered sales in Quebec by 2030, our vision will meet local standards and regulations."

The stock Porsche GT3’s the locals run on club lapping days will get blacked flags for being well above the present DB limit and need modding to bring them in line. Some of the tracks stateside have even lower *MAX DB regulations…

I go there as much for the sound and rumble as to see the racing, already The F1 cars have lost quite a lot in brutal sounds they used to emanate, seeing a few exotics making no sound would be a loss in spectating qualities .. If they could cut down a few fences it would be like old times.

*Just to keep post on topic hope he makes lots of noise Sunday.

Dang, Ferrari.
What happened to Leclerc in the beginning?

Also, the race engineer lost all his confidence. Asking if he wants a or b, and backing out too easily.

Tear off from Max's visor got in his brake duct.

Red Bull was operating on different physics engine or something. Car was crazy fast.

From 14th to 1st and with not a single challenger in sight. Total dominance from Max and RBR. Wasn't the most exciting race during the second half, but it least it wasn't cancelled again like last year. I love Spa.

I found it absolutely hilarious to listen see Hamilton talk about how fans might get bored seeing Max dominate so much after having literally the best car by a large margin and minimal competition for 7yrs in a row.

Had to lol about LH not seeing Alonso. Fukn slammed the door from the outside. Total **** move. Alonso’s comment was perfect though.

Ferrari seemed to be working on their communication issues judging by the radio.

I mean shit.
It was only a few years ago when Merc was lapping everything up to 3rd and was almost lapping the back runners again at Spa. XD

It's official, Oscar Piastri will race for McLaren in 2023. Gasly will move over to Alpine.

Oh boy, is this going to be a repeat of Ocon/Perez? Gasly and Ocon already don't get along even though they used to be friends. I am sure they will come out and say there is no more bad blood.

Ferrari being creative as usual,
Had a good laugh on that replay of Sainz 1st pit stop as the pit crew realizes the car has actually 4 tires!
Not a good day for him at all.
Did PER take out one of their guns as well?

HAM better watch his back, RUS is showing his ruthless side and racing for himself(as he should be)
No congraz at the end from his own team-mate but lots from the younger gen drivers who lined up for job well done.

LEC looked quite out of it in the room with little comment and in need of the seat.

ALO. Was quite aggressive at times.

I’m not sure I’d call Russ’ move ruthless. He made the call to go on softs and if he held station Merc would have been 3 - 4 instead of 2 - 4. I can understand Ham’s disappointment, but the reality was Russ had much better pace after the SC. No one was going to beat Max. If Ham had called for softs it may well have been Merc 2 - 3. Russ just took tire strategy into his own hands and made a good call.
