The only time I wished I had an auto was when I dislocated my patella at work and had to drive home. 1-3-6 lol

I sprained my left ankle pretty badly one time playing basketball and had to drive home. Hurt like hell working the clutch (different car). Worst part was giving a friend a lift home and hearing him laughing bc he thought it was hilarious. Should have just made him walk...

I've broken my left leg three times in about 5 years (long stories), and because I've only ever driven manuals I couldn't drive anywhere all of those times.
When I got my 86 I thought about automatic, but rather got rid of the indirect cause of two of the breaks, my bike, and went manual.

Your point is moot because how the hell do you drive with that big ass boot on. I broke my ankle, and had to drive from hospital in my auto, tried it with that thing on and couldn't. I had to drive it without it and it hurt like hell, the doctor later on said I did myself no favors
