Wondering if its the secondary cat or something that is filling or saturating and then its either leaking or vibrating something to sound like an air leak or something.

Did you ever have a problem with it over time?

A very funny mental picture of some someone pulling me over in a midget car FRS, with two enormous sirens flashing 'weee ooung, weee ooung'.

No officer, I didn't realise what speed I was doing. This forum never ceases to give me some laughs.

Did you have a stroke?
I understand the last sentence but everything above that made no sense.
Did I miss something?

Comprehension and reason do not apply to his posts. You should see him try to argue a point in technical topics.

Careful! He will contact the NHTSA and file a complaint on you.

I've never been to the antipodes. Promise.
At least, I don't remember it.

I'm reminded of a turbo-like wooshing I encountered last summer on a civic. Stock 07-08 ish R18, sounded like turbo kicking in anytime the revs went above grandma level.

AC clutch was bad, mid to high RPM would make it slip creating a very turbo-like sound.

Sheesh, I forgot I started this thread *face palm*

Take it from me, obsessing about every little sound these things make will ruin your ownership entirely and that's exactly what I did. I bitched, complained, swore up and down it was the car, blah blah blah... No, it was me. Just enjoy these cars for what they are, you'll thank yourself in the long run because I miss my BRZ every damn day. For the record, no issues ever came from this.
