It has been suggested that we will get a 4 door and there may not be a coupe, so the roof is in the interest of head room and functionality. if there is a coupe it probably will be just the sedan but with longer doors, which is necessary due to the cost of developing the new platform.

The showcar is a two-door.

They can call it the Charger/Challenger 360 like the Xbox 360.

It is once said that if you are disattisfied with an Xbox360, the naming is because you use the xbox, then do a 360 and walk away.
The flaw with the name is that when you do a 360 you actually do a full rotation and end up going the same way you started.....

Right, but what I mean is the they designed 1 body shell that can be a 4-door or 2-door, so it looks a little funky as a 2-door because they needed more rear head room for the 4-door without having to re-engineer anything.

I guess I'm just used to that as it was pretty common not so long ago. Almost all cars came in 2-door and 4-door models with very little else different.

The game was rigged! my grand father was a chrysler service manager, my uncle had one for a while, and i also owned an eclipse of the same model years, which led me to visit the local factory where they were all built. They had a really nice video presentation of the assembly process showing the eclipse, stratus 2dr, galant, and endeavor all being built on the same line. Was a fun time. Now rivian owns the plant.

Now the neon, I can't tell you anything about those other than they were cheap, and they prone to rusting to nothing very fast...

Great to see an automaker actually developing an EV with passion and enthusiasm. I think this new model (fingers crossed the production design is almost identical) looks fantastic.

The Charger/Challenger aren't exactly known for dynamic handling and they're a bit overweight. I don't see anything being lost in the switch to an EV platform; if anything those metrics will improve. Now the soul thumping engine sounds...I dunno.

Betcha' a beer it never sees production!

I am still bitter over the Barracuda concept project getting canned though.

That's sweet, but looks more like a GM product than a Barracuda, not that that means much in the current car Generations and name useage.

If you just threw that picture up I would have said it was a Camaro EV concept.
