225/40zr18 Yokohama Avid Envigor w/ Forza 311 18x7.5 offset 40

So I purchased these wheels and tires off a friend for my FRS a week ago. 225/40zr18 98w Yoko Avid Envigor which were already mounted on the rims and balanced. Since I installed them I've have had nothing but a bad experience(in the wet weather). The tires have 8/32nds of tread, no cupping, no abuse but on three seperate occasions the tire break all traction in the wet pavement(when slightly giving a little gas). I mean sure I like that and all but I feel the original Michellin Primacys felt better with grip even under a little pressure. Anyone have similiar experiences? I'm already thinking about replacing the tires with some Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetrics.

I run these tires and haven't really had any problems with them. It does take a few hundred miles to remove the release lubricant that manufactures use to keep them from sticking to their mold.

Well if you have had summer tires in the past and that is what you are used to running, yea all seasons will be pretty bad in comparison.
