Went back and checked bc I couldnt remember exaclty. Before incentives and car trade we agreed to 30.1k (no destination fee), invoice was 31.4, msrp was 32.5, atleast that's what they showed me. The other 3 listed around me were all asking 33+ and only one of them had the sti short shifter.

Appreciate the info on numbers.

Just listed my 128i for sale, so one step closer to changing communities. Next up is to drive the tS. Driven the regular BRZ many times so I know I like the platform.

Yep, $29.7K was before TTT.

They only made 300 tS for the 2020 version - if you get a "steal" of a deal on a tS, then yes go for it but otherwise a BRZ limited with the PP package negotiated down is probably a more cost effective way of owning a new one. I have no proof but I wonder if they will drop the model for 2021 and release the 2.0 version in 2021 for the 2022 model...? COVID is a bitch and the BRZ sells terribly... even though Subaru makes just enough BRZ's to cover those numbers and the Toyota partnership is probably the only reason its still around in terms of cost sharing.

It will be interesting to see how dealers treat the BRZ now. Last year I tried to get a red BRZ and the dealers treated the car like it was a hot commodity special edition that I was lucky to be offered $500 off on. Was a really strange experience.

In hindsight I think the dealer may have known that red was getting canned for the next model year, but I also talked with another dealer about a silver BRZ and got a very similar treatment. I ended up walking away, but I also wasn’t quite as serious a buyer as I am now.

Cars that sit on lots for long periods get deals. Less BRZs on lots less deals. But you never know when they need to make number. I got a fair deal even though I made the dealer find a 2016 silver AT. He traded a 2016 black MT premium to another dealer. If I bought the black one he would have made a better deal, they told me as much and tried to convince me. Turns out I paid on the lower end of fair value for my area.

$29,700 was the invoice on mine with STi shifter, foglights, floorwell lighting and a few other minor add ons. Not sure if this matters but there are still 20% out in the wild to be purchased.

This just came to my mind and wonder if anyone can provide confirmation and clarification. It is very much related to this topic so I didn't wanna make a new thread.

The USDM tS (and JDM's STi Sport/tS models) comes with the STi springs right? And said springs do provide a very subtle drop. It is to my understanding from research that this platform doesn't come with camber adjustments, and it is advised that you do install camber bolts/kits and an alignment after modifying any suspension components that alters ride height (mainly coilovers and lowering springs). So with all that said, does the tS have different alignment specs than the stock cars? Does this also mean that the tS have camber alignment?

These questions came from my research that apparently, even if I install a mild lowering spring like the STi Pinks on a stock BRZ, camber bolts at the very minimum are required for proper alignment.

Any info on this aspect would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I don't think they changed the alignment specs. All STI cars had a drop in the range of 10-15mm , which is not that much. At least I can confirm that the JDM tS models had same suspension bolts. There was no usage of a camber bolt.

So I guess it's safe to say that I can do a stock-spec alignment with no issue with just the STI Pinks. I know you might as well throw in the camber bolts while there though and give it a couple of degrees.

Thanks for the confirmation!

Getting the exact same highway gas mileage on my tS as on my 2020 86.
