??? Hmm $500 OFT to possibly getting better MPG's
or
$1,000's of dollars for another car to possibly get better MPG's

I am happy with my current MPG's but if there is an option to get better MPG's on a long distance map (whatever you want to cal it) I think many would like it and use it.

Sorry, but unfortunately your idea is not better...its kinda bad...

Whatever floats your boat. IMO, your best MPG map is using your right foot more precisely.

I'm giving you a hard time, no worries. I mean, if I am going 70 mph (3k rpm) on highway towards my long distance location - I am getting around 30-35 mpg's. I am happy about it. If they did provide a map where you get 40 mpg's, that would be kick ass too.

Yes, we will be testing the e85 map on an otherwise stock car and will be revising it as necessary. Hopefully this week.

looks good, I'll be doing some datalogging later this week, since our temps are a little lower than yours, and will adjust my tables accordingly. I am also not running headers, but have a full exhaust from there back, along with a few other goodies

I was excited until I opened the file and saw e85 is only for stage 2 . Thanks for the update nonetheless. Anticipating that stage 1 e85 tune. Flashing 1.34 now.

Thanks Again!

I'm almost positive that it should still be conservative enough to where we wouldn't be getting into any dangerous numbers. I'll play with it a little later this weekend when I have time.

I also agree that it should be conservative enough for cars with stock headers. E85 is overkill in terms of octane and cooling. The engine isn't close to detonation with the OTS E85 tune. My only concern is making sure fuel trims stay reasonable and that just requires a few days of testing.

Just installed 134 stage 1 - feels great, quick question - in the torque dip zone, exhaust now sounds fairly raspy-normal?

What about those of us with stock headers but a catless front-pipe? Does that offer any benefit in flow characteristics?

I noticed that as well on the E85 stage 2 maps. Except not just in the torque dip zone, but pretty much through most of the rev range.

Yeah sorry after I floored it, essentially get some rasp anywhere north of 4k rpm. Guessing it's just the sound of it working harder haha (this is my first flash)

Yes the rasp sound is normal and due to the revised VVT mapping. Running e85 will also change the sound of the engine a bit since it burns slower and allows the engine to run at peak efficiency (MBT).
