Subaru car cover outdoor or indoor?

Hi sorry for a dumb post but I search on the forums and online but I did not get a answer. Dose anyone know if the car cover that you can buy from Subaru a outdoor cover or indoor cover? I asked at the dealer and they didn't know either.

It looks pretty flimsy from the pictures I saw. I don't know if it's specifically called indoor or outdoor, but it looks a lot more like a dust cover than something that'd be capable of handling wind/precipitation.

From what I've read, the oem cover is waterproof except for the seams. So it's probably not the best outdoor cover if you're trying to protect the car from rain and snow.

If I had to guess from that, I'd say its more of an indoor cover.

If you're thinking of getting an outdoor cover be aware of what that cover will do to the paint finish when it's windy out. It will have the same effect as rubbing down your car with a dry towel. It can easily cause damage to the paint.
