oft only flashes engine control module ECM , if the car starts flash is fine.

The other issues may be due to the body control or auto trans modules loising comns with engine ecm durung flash.

Oft onlt reads engine codes so it wont see or rest codes from other modules.

Remove a battery terminal for a few minutes, thus will reset all modules in car and you should be fine

Loss of battery power does not erase tunes

Yeah the other modules in car likely had a hissy fit, abd have now calmed down and are talking, hapoens somtimes when reflashing as ecm goes offline during flash, other modules get upset

That happened to me too once. But I was fiddling with the OFT trying to plug it in the OBDII port while I just started my car. I think it caused it to go into some kind of safe mode or something. My A/C wasn't working although everything else seemed like it was working just fine. I drove for like 2 min realizing I wasn't blowing any cold air, turned it off for 30 sec or so, turned it back on and the a/c was working again. *sigh of relief* it was a hot day in Arizona and I was glad it was just some little quirk.
