Well, if the full-size one won't fit you can always go with a 3/4 size one. Lot cheaper too....

This is on my list of "retirement" projects.

To add to the discussion about the fog light. Belgian law states that a rear fog light is mandatory, front fogs are optional.
They can only be used when:
- mist limits visibility to 100 m;
- Snow limits visibility to 100 m;
- Heavy rain
The reason why front fogs are so low (and don't give 'extra' light) is they illuminate underneath the fog (fogs hangs over the road in a cloudform), so other drivers can see it or if the fog is really thick you can shut off the main lights and run just the fogs, otherwise you just have a white wall of fog in front of you.

It's more likely I end up with some R/C versions (no room for that at the moment) but it's really more than the visuals... the whole experience of the plane is special, and that sound... you can't replace it. Though I wonder if it sounds like that when you're in one (I was THIS CLOSE to getting a quick ride as a kid, and a paying customer came along... sigh.)

That's probably EU/EEA regulations and thereby the law in Norway, too.

Having driven mostly German cars for a few decades I'm disappointed by the fog lights on the GT86. They're not focused on the road directly ahead, instead they cast a broad, diffuse and weak cone of light.

The rest of the car is pure joy and the maintenance costs are far lower than for any German car, so I'm very happy in my 4th year of ownership.

Yeah, it's about 2x the price, but then you'd have to do the work to get the angle right on the one part. I'll need to make a decision sooner or later, cone hits are now popping my bumper cover off under the headlight pretty consistently. Curious about whatever it is you're talking about though.

It's driving me crazy trying to find them. I'm sure @Tcoat knows exactly where the thread is too

Don't know about in it, but I know standing within 15 ft of one it sounds awesome, and there is nothing from keeping the sound from being in the cockpit.

You can always go to Orlando and take an orientation flight in one.

This is on my bucket list.

I don't really use the fronts, not really needed here in Belgium to give extra light since you can see us from the moon with all those lights turned on at night.
You can easily update the front fogs with those from the Subaru Outback and change the bulbs to better ones.
I really like the fact that the rear is in the middle for us symmetrical OCD guys :p , German cars usually have one fog light left (or right in the UK) and it looks just wrong.
