Removing the silver climate control rings..

I spilled boba milk tea on my a/c knobs and now they all stick has anyone removed these before? It seems like they MIGHT just pull off but I'm too scared to try...

Also, if anyone has any insight on how to remove or clean the toggles, that would be great.

I will try nonconductive cleaner but I would rather just remove and clean.

Gonna have to remove the entire HVAC control assembly and disassemble it to get everything apart.

Your car is done. Time to scrap it and get a new one.
