Oem piston dome and head cc

Sorry if it's been answered already but I can't find it

Has anyone cc'd the heads off the fa20? Are there factory tolerances or differences?

And do we know the piston dome cc?

cc as in cubic centimeter? Do you mean measured the volume of our cylinders?

I mean does anybody know the volume of the combustion chamber and the piston dome? I am trying to ascertain the variance from factory in the "12.5:1" ratio claimed.

Combustion chamber 40.3cc

That's total volume including the standard piston dome... but not the headgasket...

Standard size piston dome 2.7cc, but that's just trivia at this point, and Head only is 37.6cc, trivia as well.

Headgasket standard thickness 0.5, volume of gasket area 2.905 cc

Total swept volume @86.0 stroke, @86.0 bore, 499.758 cc

499.758 + 40.3 + 2.905
40.3 + 2.905

542.963 / 43.205

"12.56 : 1"

There ya go

Standard piston sizes, 86.00, 86.25, 86.50 if you want to calculate the maximum variance, but I don't have the dome CC for the overbore pistons, so the combustion chamber volume will not be correct.

This doesn't factor the piston to wall volume above the first ring either, because I'm just not doing that. Y'all have to deal.
