Pulstar Spark Plugs
I was wanting to get feedback form people that have used these plugs in the 86 or any other platform. If any tuners have any info that would be great also. I've heard so many mixed reviews. They were recommended at my work for our fleet pick-ups that are bi-fuel with CNG conversions. CNG is harder to ignite than gasoline so the higher wattage helps ignition says the CNG manufacture. I have heard they can wear out the coil packs prematurely since they draw more from the secondary. If they really do improve the secondary that much it might be noticeable in the twins.

I've never heard of them before. After reading some reviews on Amazon, and Googling some other independent tests, I don't think I would personally use them. It seems everyone who tried them(at least on Amazon) didn't get too many miles out of the,.

I had a set sent to me for testing purposes several years ago for my 66 mustang because I was extremely skeptical (and they offered them for free)
The mustang did not like them, so they are somewhere in my garage collecting dust. I should dissect one for fun....

I had them in the 350z but it kept causing a cel so I just put the NGK's back in but the pulstars did give a boost in hp to my probe from the iridiums that I used in the car

The oem NGK spark plug in the FRS/BRZ is triple electrode so I can't imagine there being much improvement by changing the spark plugs.

I put them in my 350z at 90k miles. At about 100k miles they started to go bad one after another. Once the first 3 went bad just changed all 6 back to ngk.

NGK spark plugs are really the gold standard. I think the triple electrode is more about spark plug life but I could be wrong. I did have to gap my plugs down on E85 around 400 whp so I bet I'm only running one electrode anyway.
