I don't plan on going SC until some time next year as I didn't even get to install all of my parts I have collected until now

Gotta enjoy the car with full NA mods first for a few months!

Nevative. The warranty only covers the kit out-of-the-box with the supplied tune, and with the supplied pulley.

Any further modification to the kit (bolt-ons, supporting mods, pulleys, etc.,) means you're on your own without a warranty for your drivetrain. If there is a mechanical fault with the kit itself, it would still be covered under the Edelbrock warranty. Any further modification will require you to get your own custom tune.

Will any strut tower braces fit?

Specifically for me the Cusco offering as I have one with the MCB that I would prefer to keep, I need to know whether to add it to the list of stuff to sell

Wow the Edelbrock-provided dynosheet looks impressive. (Assuming this is apples-to-apples 91 octane CARB comparison...) More midrange torque than the C30-94 JR/KW rotrex superchargers (3500-6000 RPM), but matches them top-end (6000+ RPM).

@CSG Mike

What are your thoughts on Edelbrock vs. JRSC? Primarily focused on power delivery and track durability. We all know JRSC is track-proven, how about Edelbrock? Thanks!

Exactly. For most people, all that warranty means is that Edelbrock is confident that the Twin's (isn't that actually triplets?) engine can handle the amount of power their base kit develops, which is reassuring, but from a practical aspect, this warranty doesn't mean much to most buyers.
No question that a short warranty is better than no warranty, but for most drivers this is going to be really short, or nonexistent.

CSG dynos are all heat-soaked dynos. I'm not sure comparing those two graphs is a fair comparison. Additionally, that particular dyno of the JRSC is without an oil cooler, whereas the Edelbrock does have the Perrin unit installed.

Further testing for the Edelbrock unit is ongoing, and I cannot comment on that until I have enough evidence to draw a conclusion. In usual CSG fashion, the testing will be rigorous, thorough, and I can assure you that I will be trying my best to make the car overheat.

I've received word the Edelbrock dyno is also without an oil cooler.

Somebody can correct me, but I believe JR has a Setrab 15 vs the Perrin, which has a 13 row I believe.

Edit: I had the sizes wrong, but either way, the JR has a slightly larger heat exchanger.

Jesus the install instructions are nightware-ish. I put a deposit down for this kit and am seriously reconsidering it now. There's so many modifications you have to do just to install. They claim this to be a simple bolt-on kit, but it looks to be far from it. Really bummed about it

Couple questions, gonna be in Socal near the holidays and would be interested in having CSG do the install based on your thorough posts about it.

1. I know you said there isn't a break in, but is it advisable to install the kit and a few days later drive back to Oregon?

2. Do you have a ballpark for labor on install? I assume under a day for pros like you guys.
