The box weighed in at 48lbs. I don't have a scale that would be accurate enough to weigh the individual pieces.... And the exhaust is already on my car. Guesstimating I'd say it's about as heavy as the stock catback.

Thanks! I do all of my own work. Not to give away the whole plan but what's next big purchase is going to be a JDL UEL and a tune for it for my JRSC.

I gave up imploring people to leave the spring installed. Hopefully you didn't lose the parts like I did.

The spring is in the box where I keep all of the stock parts I've removed or replaced. The floppiness isn't a deal breaker or anything. I'm planning to leave it out for a 100% "true" feel and to keep my leg from getting weak if I miss legs day at the gym.

So I got the answer from the workshop. they will change a control arm, something of the steering, 2 rims and they will paint the bumper.

Good that my insurance will pay for everything

And I got a rental car for these days, an amazing hyundai i20

I don't think its that there are important cons (other than the slight floppiness at the top of the pedal travel), its just that if you do the cylinder swap, taking the spring out is kind of unnecessary. Why induce the floppiness if you can solve the original problem(bad clutch feel, pedal too light) with a different solution that doesn't cause that problem?

Granted, I removed the spring and haven't done the cylinder swap and I'm happy with it. So...

Installed the BRZ ts alcantara gauge hood with red stitches. It is not visible when driving behind steering wheel.

I have the leather version and mine is visible when driving. Different wheel-seat heights.

People who have changed their reverse lights to brighter LED, did it help? Or is the reverse light housing just too low to do anything? Can't see %(*& when i reverse at night in this car, with the crappy lights and factory tint in the back!
