Hopefully this is enough and hopefully it bolts right on as people claim.

I do know that it has been said the is300 diff mounting pints are the same as ours. I think @mrk1 or @mr1k had the is 300 diff on his car.

I bought a used is300 pumpkin and swapped weir 4.88 gears for the Supra 1986.5-92- ALL on their website along with the solid spacer instead of crush washer and MFactory Mechanical LSD. Then it's just a matter of ordering a bunch of shims and taking your time to set the preload and backlash. I still have my stock pumpkin intact sitting in the garage. All in all it goes smoothly as long as you take your time. So to answer your question. Yes you can take the gears and/or lsd out of the is300 and also use it in our pumpkins. They are identical on the inside.

See above, but it will bolt right up

One other thing I think would be interesting would be to see if you could swap diff covers on the is300 diff also. For example use the Cusco diff cover or the GReddy high capacity one and still make everything fit

You can, they're literally identical pumpkins. One day I'll drop $500 on the damn covers for more capacity and the option for a diff cooler.. the mechanical LSD can get quite hot.
