And we have it. Andre hooked me up with some winters and we're good to go.
We went for a little spin and the new car is MUCH more responsive than my 2013, which was running headers and a tune. |

Congrats!
Do you think the improved responsiveness you're feeling is due to the bump in torque? Are you planning on getting a summer set of wheels or keep on swapping tires back and forth? |

John, have you test-fitted your summer wheels/tires for fitment yet?
And how are you enjoying the car so far? (still on the fence on getting the new one) |

Car is great so far. The extra torque down low is so much better when you're just driving around. Plus it's got all the fancy new bells and whistles. |

Enkei PF01 in 18x8.5 +48. They should fit based on the latest TireRack guide and my experience with the first gen. |

Sounds like a good plan. I'm using the summers from my old FR-S on the current BRZ (1st gen) and I'll be interested to see if they could be reused on the new gen just as you're intending. They're 18's as well (Enkei Kojin) 8" width with 40 offset, and I like the way they bring the outer surface closer to flush compared to stock.
Hopefully we'll get an early spring so you can fully enjoy your new baby! |

Before I throw them up on the general BST/Kijiji, anyone interested in the set of Michelin Pilot 4 that came with my 2022?
Brand new except for the distance from Ogilvie Subaru to Andre's shop. Shoot me a PM if you are. |

Lol. I sold a set in 2017 in exactly that situation after driving from the dealer to Andre. The couple who bought them thought it was too good to be true. After they left, I noticed that the BRZ and Mazda3 had the same tire size and I needed new summers for the Mazda3. Doh. More business for Andre. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Anyone seeing updates on '22 or '23 models / availability in Ottawa? Also, how many Gen 2's are showing up at meets? I'm trying to put in an order so I can finally rejoin you guys after selling my '15.

Just picked up some oil filters for my first oil change. As it turns out the 2022 takes a different size than the Gen1 and I have a couple of the older ones that I won't be using.
If anybody wants them, hit me up. Free to the first person that replies. |
