The one that worked best for them is reps, lots and lots of reps, in short 10-15 minutes sessions 2X-4X daily using praise after each rep. I'm talking about a thousand reps per command over the course of a year using a lunge line indoors and out with distractions during the advanced training that included hand signals.

As tempting as it is to use treats, once a FS dog gets them weaning them off is difficult. They have great memories, one and done for most drills but only if they feel like it. Once exposed to treats, they'll remember and be reluctant to repeat their drills reliably without the expected treat.

It's the opposite experience training surrendered shelter dogs, typically Labs, but they're just as happy getting a tennis ball as a treat and are more trainable than most any Spitz breed.

Your Kelpie is intense! Keeping him busy would be my four-legged diet plan. I imagine that before too long he'll be reading your mind and be ready for commands before you are!

Good to hear of your GSD experience. Wonderful dogs though the few around my area need training desperately to control their prey drive.

Not sure about the overall look. Doesn't look close enough to the original for me. I like some of the concepts like the Karrbon 01.

It looks like a Huracan with a bad body kit to me.

Lexus J201 Concept

I do at least one seasonal off-road photo expedition trek a year into the Oregon outback with a local group. The group includes two heavily modified LX 470 owners who would drool over this rig. Me too.

If the owners would allow it, I'd love to see some pics of their rigs. Weve got an LX470 w/ a Gamaviti custom roof rack supporting a Tepui RTT and absolutely love it. Working on installing a dual battery system and second 50w solar panel to better support a 12v fridge. Built some drawers for the back, and have an Origo alcohol stove built into one of them. Such fun.

This pic was taken on our first trip with it... Before installing the alcohol stove.. still using dual fuel Coleman.

Man... I think Haru's breeder recommended that or something similar for his coat health... of course her primary thing is showing the dogs at AKC competitions and stuff so that matters more to her. But I was definitely considering trying it.

Did anyone else see Quartararo's pass into T3 at the Austrian GP with 5 laps to go?!?!

Insane late braking skills.

Awesome rig! That's about the biggest RTT I've seen.

Everyone in the group is hard core except me. They intentionally get stuck somewhere every day during the trek to practice their recovery skills. I'm impressed with the LX capabilities. I'll look for a certain shot of an owner doing a water crossing over boulders that would've been impossible without a snorkel, lift, 33's and armor everywhere.

I don't really mind the look... it doesn't look great or sexy... but lets be real. Countach was never looked good, if you compared to like Diablo.
