Went last week. Still waiting for the ultrasound people to call and schedule for one issue. Everything is moving slow. Except for the 4 corona patients, the hospital is pretty empty.

I also have impingement in my shoulder. Really painful. They gave me some exercises to do, but aren't helping much. Thinking about calling the doc back for a cortisone shot. It's one of those things where it is impossible to get comfortable in bed. I haven't had a good night's sleep in a while.

Oh yes, that cortisone is good stuff. Before I had my back surgery, I used to get shot up every few months.

I sure hope your shoulder ailment isn't what my daughter had (still has to a degree). She was diagnosed with Parsonage Turner Syndrome. You may wish to look that up and see if you have those symptoms -

You may have to drive over to Oregon, to get some "medicine".

I hope you get to feeling better.

Fast forward a month and my feet are still in agony wearing the new boots.

It's bad to the point that I paid out of my own pocket for another pair of the Keen boots. $220 is a kind of expensive lesson about "if the shoe fits", but happy feet lead to a happy work life I guess.
Timberland boots suck.

I too recently bought a pair (their low cut work boots.) Both have cracks down the soles within 2 weeks of use (shop/warehouse use on finished concrete.)

After much frustration I finally got them swapped out for a new pair and was assured it was a rare case. 4 days into the new pair and same thing happened. They will not entertain a full refund ($230ish.)

Soon as the lockdown is over a trip to RedWing boots is in order.

We do a few of those rafting trips a year as well. I have a nice local spot, where you put in and get out our only a few miles apart, but it is a gentle 5-6 hour float. I am typically not the DD for that one

For the $350 CAD they cost, they really are a super garbage boot. Apart from looking nice and being light, they have nothing else going for them. I'll likely get Keens for the foreseeable future.

It as been one year since I retired. May 4th,2019 is my retirement date. I have to say I love my new home and new little town. I'm trying to stay active, but feel like the retirement curse is haunting me. Several new health problems.

Finally not having dreams about work anymore.

Bulbs? I haven’t. They’re bulb size 168 & didn’t know that 194 & 168 are same damn thing. I wanna get Diode Dynamics bulbs... but shipping cost equally as the bulb, I couldn’t justify buying it atm. If & when they have some July 4th sale or something, I’ll look into it

Well, found another positive from making the switch from IPhone to android. I can now use android auto with it. All it took was a $6.50 app to get it going on my android based head unit.

It's an incredibly small thing that ends up making my time in car so much more enjoyable.
