Honestly, it would be easier to make out of fiberglass or carbon. An average to big home 3D printer will still only do about 230X230X230mm. So it would have to be multiple pieces.

So in the end, either will work... as long as it looks like the ones I've shown. |

It wouldn't be too hard to mock up with cardboard, make a styrofoam mold, then coat with bondo and sand to shape. You could probably build a couple parts off each mold, maybe more if you are gentle. Plenty for a home DIY project.

So... what you're saying is, go watch YouTube and learn how to mold? That doesn't sound that bad of plan... expect, getting those supplies I need from Home Depot or Lowe's gonna be bitch. BUT do interest me. Might need to research a bit.

Really, you just need to youtube how to work with bondo, and how to work with fiberglass. Carbon fiber is not that much different then fiberglass except I find it harder to cut cleanly. You would be surprised how many commercial fiberglass(and vacuum forming) molds are just bondo that has been gelcoated over. For a home project you just use styrofoam as a filler to get your rough shape.

Buying isn’t the issue... issue is, I don’t have much space in the house. W vinyl cutter & few other machines inside the office, it’s at the max limit. Even w small 3D printer won’t fit atm

I have extra money for mod parts. Don’t have enough money to buy new house! Even selling my current house won’t help for bigger house mortgage. First I need my wife to finish Nursing Degree (+-2yrs) THEN can think bout buying 4 car garage house |
