Oh yeah gonna go flex fuel 100%. Anything over E70 is a waste anyways

Hahaha yeah but you can not buy it out here I would have to order it by the drum. Perks of that is I will make way more power then any other local can ever dream of

OK so now you are getting totally carried away. No way to sugar coat it so just gonna say it. That is one dumbass plan. Buying drums at $1.70 a liter is fine for occasional track use but just pissing money down the drain for a DD when you burn through a drum a week. Where the hell ya gonna drive where you can even touch that power level anyway?

That's a lot of drums to be ordering to have fuel on hand. 50 gallons is 4 tanks and you'd be getting about 20ish mpg. So about 1000 miles worth per drum.

Does that price include delivery?

I actually need to learn more about this. Our station that I thought was E85 is actually flex fuel, and said between something like 51-81% ethanol. Not sure what to do now:/
I was just going to use E85.

You can only advance timing so far. You can only run so much boost until the rods give out. Unless I lower the CR and get beefy rods I don't need the extra 15%. So in my case I only really need E70.

Valid point. Right now its far too much for street use. Sure its nice to pass but how often do you need to pass someone on a 1 lane highway. Maybe I should put the money into something else. And yeah I would always DD with E85 cuz that is such a waste

That's shipped to my door price.

All stations are like that. If you want to run corn you need flex fuel. I live in Iowa and have never once in 2 years found a station that actually has 85% ethanol. Best I've done is 80%. It's usually 70% even in the summer

E content changes with the seasons. Flex fuel is the way to go unless your car is going to exclusively run E85 from drums or a reliable source like a fueling station at the track.

Flex fuel is the ability for your tune to measure (extra hardware needed) and adjust for the E content.

I could see it for your boosted application. I was told most of your corn power is made beyond 70%

The actually flex fuel equipment is only like $400, silly to risk an engine over it

E85 pumps are rarely actually 85% ethanol. Usually they're about what you're finding; somewhere between 50-85%. Talk to @moto-mike or @Moto-Phil from Moto East about their flex fuel kit. I would rather my car be able to adjust its tune for the percent of ethanol instead of be locked in to just 85%.

Talk to your tuner and see what he/she says. Like I said timing can only go so far
