Car won't start, no spark?
2003 accord 4 cylinder with 100k miles.
Worked perfectly driving home from work the night before. The next day trying to go to work it won't start. The engine turns over but doesn't start. Jump start didn't work. There is no check engine light but I have no way of checking for codes anyway. Disconnecting the fuel line from the fuel rail lets gas come out and the fuel pump makes noise so it seems to be working. Putting a screw driver into a spark plug does not create spark. Also, there is a collapsed radiator hose, don't know why Do not know where to go from here? |

Sounds a lot like a problem I had at 40k with my Sonata. The starter went bad. If its a manual transmission, try to push-car start it.

hmm, so I tried to jump the car on Friday when I originally had the problem.
Used my friends charger/jumper that plugs into outlet on Saturday. Both didn't work. When the mechanic use his jumper pack, the car starts. He finds no codes and says the alternator is working fine. ........ |

Could be an issue with intermittent connectivity at the ignition switch. My GS-R had that problem. Though with my car it was IGN switch to the fuel pump relay that was the issue.

I have a 2000 accord and I replaced my starter and spark plugs at around 100K. A starter might run you a few hundred but I'm sure you have plenty more miles left in your car. I'm on 196K right now.
