[QUOTE=Wally86;3544533]Having a hood with a hole in it has been a really good time... for water to get into my engine bay. It doesn't worry me at all about the electronics because those connectors have water proof plugs built into them but the pulleys? They're getting rusty and throwing rust dust everywhere in line with the belt lol. Solution? The grimmspeed tool tray didnt' cover as much of the area as I had hoped so I grabbed some password JDM carbon fiber covers. It rained 2 hours after I installed them so I got to go outside and see how they did immediately.

How hard was it to get the cover to fit the oil filter? I can't get the cover past the a/c lines without nearly having to bend the lines to make it fit better. And I can't get it to set properly. I was thinking Id have to cut a relief on the cover to make it easier to put on and remove.

I'm assuming you mean the high pressure line which take some serious finagling. I wish I had covered the spot under the high pressure line connector with masking tape but did scratch the cover a small bit putting it on. 🤪 No relief cut needed just patience and frustration suppression. 👍

I purchased a Toyota oil filter my previous service because it was cheaper than Subaru. The filter was much smaller FYI

I still use the Subaru oe filters

Also MAF extension on but now it's ugly... but far away from the belt with slack. I'm sure I'll rerun it a more attractive way later.

New to me wheels installed. Coincidentally, my brother has the same wheels in 18x8.5 for his WRX. Mine are 18x9.5 that I got off of a local for just a grand. Wild luck.

That front bumper explanation. Smashed into a random box in the middle of the highway at the end of last year. Dumb.

Forgot to show the killer b strut bars
