Vittorio's TRD SE 86

Hi everyone, I'm back!

My previous build was a 2015 FR-S, which was a daily driver! After 104,000 miles I grew tired of it and started car shopping.

I truly enjoyed this car, but it was time to move on!

Mod list:

Exterior: TRD Aero Fins, Seibon TS Hood, Verus Engineering Splitter, 86 Headlights/Tailights

Engine/Drivetrain - Vortech Supercharger, Exedy Stage 1 Clutch and Lightweight Flywheel, Verus Forged fork

Suspension - Eibach Multi-PRO R2 (custom rates), Eibach front and rear sway bars with Eibach adjustable endlink kit.

Brakes - Project MU Club Racer with DBA Rotors

Wheels - Rays 57CR 17x9 or Enkei RPF1 18x8

_____________________________________

I found myself within a TRD Special Edition and just had to get it! I ended up installing suspension and wheels an hour after picking up the car, haha.

Suspension: Eibach Multi-PRO R2 Coilovers
Wheels: Rays 57CR

I don't really have a direction for this one, but I'm glad it's fueled the fire again!

The gold 57cr's really make the decal work for me on the TRD SE.

Nicely done.

That is the best looking new TRD edition that I have seen.

Car looks great!
Just shows how terrible the factory TRD wheels are.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

I took the car to ACH for a quick cruise, mainly going over the suspension setup. It seems like I'll be installing some rear sway bars this weekend!

Wow.... Nailed it. Wheel spec and color combo go great with this car. Nice work.

Update: Re-installed coilovers

I removed my coilovers for a rebuild at work recently and man, what a night and day difference! We did some custom valving on the compression side and 10/10 feels incredible.

I also opted to run a 2015+ WRX rear sway bar, with a softer spring rate on the coilovers, a stiffer RSB is a must on staying flat on corners without sacrificing ride quality.

Ground Control Camber Plates and Injen Evolution Intake

Installed the following the Ground Control camber plates and the Injen intake.

Coming from a supercharged FR-S, butt dyno feels something with the intake installed.

I had the car aligned at work, pretty conservative, but should still be fun to drive around.

I also forgot to mention that I installed my Seibon hood, it's mainly for cooling. Under track use, I notice these cars suffer heavily from heat soaking and this seems to help out a lot.

What made you get sick of your supercharged Frs? I had a buddy who had a vortech powered car and we were constantly battling issues every time he came to the track

I just saw this, sorry for the delay.

I simply didn't enjoy the car that way. Loved the power bump, but the car not so much. I prefer to not have to worry about maintaining the car, but that isn't possible with a supercharger. The silver car saw a lot of track use, it was pretty reliable once I put a vented hood, no issues at all.

Went down in width for my next set of wheels!

Saw an opportunity on Craigslist and decided to take it.
