It does where I am, we live in the desert so its nice and warm here during the winter... which attracts what we call snow birds. However it also hardly ever rains here and we joke it usually lasts 15-20 minutes and goes way.

So when things get like this everyone slows down and driving turns into a pain staking process of trying not to end up enraged at everyone who suddenly has forgotten how to drive.

I am still driving the FR-S to and from work but the fun is certainly not there today.

did a quick log today. its only possible to have one log file at a time on the OFT? tried to do a second one and it wanted to overwrite the 1st log.

anyways...i assume KC learned value is knock correction? if so i appear to be getting a lot of knock at WOT. only mods are FA20club CAI and the OFT stage 1 1.34 flash

KC learned value isn't knock. It is how much ign advance the ECU adds when knock is not detected. So quite the opposite. And your advance multiplier is again at 1.0 which is ideal. This means that you aren't running a too aggressive tune. One thing I noticed is your negative fuel trims which are attributable to not running a stock airbox. Aftermarket intake tubes tend to result in MAF sensor misreadings.

thanks! ive been debating going back to the stock airbox or not. i downloaded tuner pro, but havent messed with it yet. my only tuning experience was using access tuner race to dial in my mazdaspeed 3. it was pretty straight forward.

Should be engine load values be this low during pulls? I noticed the above user has higher loads running 93 than I do on e85.

FYI, my AM is now at 1 (was at .97 during this log)

http://www.datazap.me/u/jeebus/brz-e85?1-9

If L =(MAF*60)/RPM, then I'm only doing 135 g/s?

should we be concerned with running those silicone aftermarket tubes with an oem intake box?

how come the file sizes of the 1.34 file is exactly the same size as the 1.31 file which is what I have been using all along? I would imagine that with some changes they would have different file sizes.

thanks
Josh

Doesn't work that way. There will always be the same amount of hex values...they will differ but not in qty. So file size won't change.

Alright I'm officially addicted to e85 now. Filled up for the first time today. Reflashed after driving around a little bit and then letting the car idle for awhile, watching the fuel trims. Took it easy on the drive back to work.

Then leaving work, when I started it up I could smell that sweet e85 smell, mmm. Pretty much knew I was good to go. When I got on the freeway I wanted to lift my foot from the floor but I just couldn't. It felt so damn good, pulled like a beast, stronger as I went up the rev range.

I don't know if I can ever go back at this point.
