USDM spec cars have it. Mine is banded on because the STi wheels weren't tpms compatible

so what does that mean exactly? you had to ghetto rig the tpms to fit on? do I even need the tpms etc?

Pretty much. Its just mounted using a metal band. You don't need to have it. Its just a matter of whether you want tpms or not. Its just a sensor

One thing to note is that mine are JDM. So I'm not sure whether the usdm wheels are compatible or not

It is, but some manufactures (Honda) are switching to an ABS style system eliminating the physical TPMS.

Subarugenuineparts.com.
$315.00 for the front lip.
$395.00 for the side skirts.
$264.00 for the rear spats.

Reminder:
E5610CA100 - Rear - $335.00 List
E2410CA000 - Front - $399.99 List
E2610CA000 - Sides - $499.99 List

So you save over $200 from list and almost $900 from JDM pricing.

i dont know anything about wheels. but what really is the difference between US and jdm style? besides the half inch width..? I would of really wanted the jdm silver ones, but for 1900 shipped I would much rather save 500 dollars and get the US black versions.

Yeah, JDM are 17x7.5 +48. I agree, not worth it for $700 more. About the same price for 18x7.5 +48, which is barely worth it for $700 more. It's just a lot to pay for 17x7 +48 heavy wheels. SO many other wheel options for that price, and unless you plan on going the full OEM+ route with tS parts, I just don't think one should skimp out by settling for the USDM 17x7 STI wheels. They're just weak and you'd be happier spending that money on cosmetic parts. Heck, you can get all the aero pieces for the price of those crappy-sized wheels.

I'm still waiting for the ASGA Spirit replica wheels to come back in production as silver, then I think I'm gonna jump on those next year.

wheels are the last piece missing from my ts build and I would of went with the spirit wheels, but then I would have to be tires and so forth, so whatever. I dont care if I stick with 17's forever lol

The USDM/CDM STI wheels (17x7) really ain't that bad... With the right tires, they actually "look" like 18s... They're made in JAPAN as well... So...

Here's a picture of my 17x7 fitted with Michelin Pilot Super Sports...
