just finished farcry 5. not sure how i feel about it, when the protagonist doesn't die in the end...

I actually liked New Dawn much more than 5.
Seeing how 5 ended and that New Dawn shows the aftermath makes me think they had that ending planed from the start.

The BEBG from New Dawn is about the only thing I don't like.

overall, i wasn't as happy with the storyline of 5. it was just too realistic with the cult storyline, and being based in the US. 2+3 were overall unrealistic, and they were an easy escape from reality. that's what made them fun for me.

4 started getting somewhat realistic as well with the storyline, though i appreciated the expandable-map setup that carried over from 3 with easy/hard targets.

Same. Is the first game where I was like "Well, now what". Clearly FC5 was made with New Dawn in mind during development.

Install Razer Synapse, Chroma and Cortex.

Create Profile
Add Games
Optimize
Calibrate Headphones
Mess with Sound Properties

Give Up and watch a YouTube Video on how to set up headphones.
More frustration
Start game, mess with more settings. Get frustrated and re-do the whole process again.

I just got a pair of Steelseries 7P headphones and had the opposite experience, they just work. Turn them on, sound comes out. Doesn't matter if the dongle is plugged into my PC, mac, PS, or switch.

Honestly, I was using my PS4 headphones for a while before I got the Razer ones, and besides the low battery duration, they were very solid. I was finally able to tweak the Razer ones this weekend, but I wouldn't purchase another pair ever again.

I think I need a new case. I need something where I can hook 3 fans in front, 3 or 2 on top and 1 in the back. Thinking a Corsair or Lian Li

Yep. I have the H510 from NZXT. But there are two things that now bother me.

1. Only one slot for either a 120/140 mm fan on top. But the top of the case sit too close to the power cable to the MOBO.

2.So only a 120mm sort of fits. This means that effectively, only the 120mm fan on top pushes all the hot air out. The rear 120mm fan works for the radiator, so airflow is a little restricted.

I ended up going with the Fractal Design Meshify 2. I can fit fans on top, front, and even bottom. Though I might skip the bottom ones. The B550-F mobo only has the ability to support 6 fans. So I am definitely getting a fan controller. For that I went with a Phanteks.

Cases are a huge rabbit hole, so many options.
