Up here in Canada the only red calipers are on brz rs sport, brz rs and the 2019 86 TRD edition. Toyota Canada shafted all of us by not offering the trd handing package option for 2020

Yeah the grey seems to be a popular colour from the spyshots in the GR86 thread.

Its kind of a tricky colour to get photos to show it correctly.
My iphone makes it look a little darker than it is.
In the shade it almost looks the same as asphalt at some angles from a distance but its noticeably lighter when seen up close and in brighter light. And the colour transition in various light conditions is more prominent.
I liken the change similar to the Argento > Steel. Where Argento was kind of bleh in all light conditions, Steel has much more prominent dark and light transitions.

Ill take more pics when its sunny, its finally getting consistently sunny now after a bout of rain and cloudiness. Oh i also have to wash/wax the car the colour doesnt really "pop" when its a bit dirty lol.
Maybe i just need a better camera also.

Gave it some wax over the weekend.
Haven't really gone anywhere for some nice scenery and snaps.

So it was just finding some not-so-horrible spots to take a few quick iphone pics.

This is probably the best real-life representation of this colour from an iphone6S
I do like seeing the flake/sparkle in the paint (which im sure the other paint colours have too to various degrees)

Just a quick reminder:
Toyota 86/GR86 Pavement Grey is also known as Magnetite Grey Metallic on the Subaru side of things.

I'd like to see asphalt next to pavement.(ha)

They look very similar, I'm curious what the difference is.

Im actually hoping to run into an asphalt 86/frs or even a dark grey Subaru and be able to park next to it to show the difference lol.
