fun! ways to win!

Nothing should be behind you in a car that isnt secured and sealed off. yes i know that negates like 20% of the cars sold in 2021, and it should. it is a pretty major reason for disfigurement and death. BRZ, my MX-5 RF, all have sealed trunks and stop stuff from decapitating me.

the only way i would not mind being decapitated is if some woman has sex with me and then tears my head off afterwards. However, I am praying mantis, and that is just how we roll.

400 Z would be my next car for certain if it just had a way to secure that crap.

I passed the new Supra as it can't secure things either, from how it appears in the photo.

I am going to stop typing and catch some flies. later.
I've seen a lot of hyperbole on these forums, but this has to be at the top.

Hey, by the way, if you drive your car off a 200 foot cliff, you die (doesn't matter what you have in the trunk and/or how it is secured). Solution - don't drive.

And for the record, even if your BRZ cargo is a load of unsecured long swords in your back seat, every trip you take on a motorcycle is more unsafe than driving that BRZ. Just sayin'

We will see on aug 16th when it officially debuts. The Q50 with same VR30DDTT is $36K and the outgoing 370Z is $31K. If they borrow enough drivetrain parts and just change the interior and styling I don't see why they can't hit 35K with a ~330HP VR30DDTT. The 45K-55K is what the touring / nismo trims (400HP) are for

We'll see, and it would be awesome if they did, I just don't see it happening. If they drop a 330hp, twin turbo v6, 6 speed manual sports car for $35k, it will be insane. Specially since a few bolt-ons and a tune gets you a 400whp monster, it would be unbeatable at that price. Even at $40k++ it would still be a front runner.

If it seems too good to be true, usually that’s because it is.

A base 370Z in Canada was last priced at about $30k CAD (~$24k USD). The new car is basically the old chassis with a retuned suspension, new body panels and dash, and a borrowed engine - I read somewhere it was developed at less than half the cost of a normal re-do. So Nissan should be in a position to price it aggressively.

I've had a box of nails and a set of open end wrenches on the passenger side of my car for months. I should probably put those away...

this is absolutely a major reason for death in an accident. A regular accident that you would easily survive. Just because you want to justify buying something other bro's think is cool, doesnt mean it is safe to transport anything other than a pair of socks behind you

It will not have limited slip differential for that price and be super stupid to drive without it. Nissan always removes that feature and puts it on the step up for 5-6k more it seems. imagine 400 hp with a 1980's buick skylark differential = win. I hope it has a red velour option too.

Yes. But you know what the biggest cause of death is in car accidents? Speed. So why don't we all drive everywhere at 25 miles an hour?

Two concepts that you should familiarize yourself with (which you clearly don't understand, bro) - relative risk and assumption of risk.

By the way, both of these concepts are things that people that think everyone should "mask up" everywhere they go because of COViD regardless of their antibody status, vaccine status, age, health, and who they are going to be around clearly don't understand.

Your welcome for your first lesson, bro!

To quote my buddy Inigo Montoya and your word choice - "I do not think it means what you think it means."

You're more likely to die within 5 miles of your home, so you should never stay there!

We can all manipulate statistics to say what we want. Now will you STFU and get back to talking about the twins vs the Z?

I agree, they won't have an LSD base for sure. But the Q50/60 community already solved that with some aftermarket options. Hopefully they'll reuse.

Additional 2K for aftermarket LSD ain't too bad. The price gouging on the stealership is what's probably the biggest price adder
