Good for you. Sept 30 2014 is my sober date. It's a gift more than an accomplishment

Congrats man. As someone who deals with addicts on a regular basis, I commend you for your sobriety. Amazing accomplishment and I hope you maintain it for the rest of your life!

A friend of mine also celebrated similar accomplishment the other day. I am really happy that more and more people around are quitting alcohol. For me it is strange that it isn't banned he now decided to switch to CBD-containing things and autoflowering seeds, wants to grow them on his own. He will start with Gorilla Cookies Auto seeds (got them here).

I went 4 months without alcohol. To celebrate today I had a 16oz gin and tonic. So yummy.

I thought I might lose some weight while I wasn't drinking, but didn't lose a pound. Damn ice cream!

That was tried once in this country - it didn't work out so well -

I spent about 3.5 years without alcohol. I stopped drinking to show my brother (who is still a heavy drinker) that you can stop.

Eventually I went back to drinking, but I never stopped because I was worried about it's involvement in my life.

Huge congrats to anyone impacted by it that has had the will power and courage to fight the addiction!

My father in law just celebrated 30 years of sobriety. My mother in law gave him an ultimatum when it was impacting their ability to care of their children, and he chose to quit. He still goes to weekly AA meetings to support newcomers and celebrate with others who have been along for the ride with him.
