Unhappy Seeing that most new BRZ and GR 86 2022 models dyno at WHP at 210 to 215. But this Au

The Australian delivered BRZ only managing pathetic 153 kw, 205 whp.

Any idea why? Just other YouTube videos from various sources reported 210 whp on stocks. Some are done on Mustang Dyno machine and pretty reputable sources.
Even the crappy 91 RON fuel in US got into 190 whp territory. Is our version more restricted in the ECU?

Elevation, compensations within the dyno software, air temperature, gear chosen. These are just a few variables that affect output readings and are why dynos are more effective at reading comparative differences between the same car, rather than car vs car on different dynos in vastly different climates / locations / conditions.

I could dyno my car and get 270whp. Then adjust the dyno settings and get 400whp.
Just ignore it

the ship crew forgot to feed the horses under the hood during the long voyage to australia.

if you ask me, only losing 20 out of 210 isn't too bad of a margin.

Comparing absolute numbers between different dynos is a bit pointless, especially for guys that uses dynojets..Those numbers are often impossible to reproduce over here

Its no different. Just ignore the 5% difference, its mostly down to settings. The Dynapack hub dyno's that some of the professional tuners in Australia use are very accurate and don't have to be set-up to 'estimate' as many losses like roller dynos do.

Also, the US tuning scene is pretty competitive... that's all I will say
