cut 4 times.
once to figure out the end of the tape measure is bent. twice after realizing a screw got caught under the magnetic end of the tape measure three after forgetting you needed 2 @ 5/8", and 1@ 3/8" and four to get it all close enough for beer time.

bit of a bittersweet day today. pulling the trucks audio build apart, and detailing the truck so i can start a new one. it's the first time in 4 years that the plastic rear interior panels have gone back on, i even found all the hardware!

Thing is, in most cases as long as this is the measuring stick you are using, it would really wouldn't impact you much. It is only if you were using one that is "correct" and this one together that it would cause slight issues.

In some handyman magazine my dad used to get, issues had a reader sent in 'top tip' section, and every other issue, someone would say something along the lines of "Use the same tape measure for the entire project", and then describe their example of how their project went wrong not listening to everyone else that suggested it.
