Regarding why the issue is happening, I wasn't told much, except for that some new code that was added to the 2017+ brz and 86 ECU that courses a sensor in the car to not accurately read AFR.

Has anyone experienced this? I've been kind of in the blue, and they haven't been telling me much about when it will be fixed.

If you have a 2017 brz/86 go look at your AFR and see if this is affecting you.
So the exact issue is that the AFR's will target a leaner AFR that what is commanded. This is only the case on the 2017+ BRZ platform (and does not seem to be all 2017 models) with RaceROM 11 and greater patches.

We did not bring this up, nor EcuTeK, because it is was not clear what cars were affected. But it is something EcuTeK released an update to me to test out recently, so I will be going through that next week.

EcuTeK never gives dates on when things will be resolved, sorry that is how they work. All you can really do is inquire about it and as they have time (which they are slammed with work), they will get to it. Usually with the BRZ stuff they do make it more of a priority because it is a big market for them.

I never ever encountered this bug in my 2017 car with neither racerom 10 or racerom 11.1
Neither in my18 or my19 cars here in Europe

I never even saw a log of this bug, do you have one or a screenshot showing this?

If you force an european Calid i think you fix it then

I also forc-flashed recently an euro my19 car with a my20 ZA1JA01U00G Japan Calid with racerom 11.1 and no issue, is it something that affects american calids?

Quite a few of the racerom 10 bugs only sgowed up on non euro roms. Its likely the same with RR 11.x , the euro roms are likelg the obes scutek tests on so tend to have less bugs.

I defibirly get the weird fueling bug on K00C usa, rom but not on K00G euro

Also if your not using say SD or closed loop fueling you might not encounter it

I have been the issue with RaceRom 10+ in K01E. It was not still solved in RR10.x, RR11, RR11.x about 2 years.
Finally, Ecutek fixed this issue in RR v.12 a few days ago!

My first problem was that the AFR Target ECUtek has never matched up with the AFR Target OEM.
Second one was that the Fuel System Status was not appearance correctly.
I couldn't use the Closed Loop Fuel Control as well.

Your issue(AFR Actual) is not look same my case(AFR Target), but hope it works out!

Email support@ecutek.com

I expect that it's missing the Power AFR maps being defined, as is the K00G. Is that correct @tomm.brz? I thought all MY17+ cars use it.

The pics suggest that the CL is trying to hit the Lean Closed Loop fuel map.

The Fuel System Status is an easy fix if the OEM parameter is reading correctly, they'll just update the patch.

i think he has fixed everything now with the newest racerom

Anyway K00G doesn t have power afr and the other related tables defined because it doesnt actually have them
it s still very same logic as pre restyling roms

i think subaru added the power afr and transformed the open loop in closed loop starting from Q00G, my18 calibration

I tuned a my18 brz that had K00G as stock tune so i guess they implemented it somewhere in the middle of my18s distribution.. Maybe when Euro6d went in effect?

All problem has gone on the RaceRom v12 which released a few days ago.
Thanks for your answer!
