I checked out the one from rearseatdelete.com....and....idk. $300-$340 + another $40 shipping...all to lose your back seat and not really gain anything?

The one from Japan Parts at least have a great trade off. Lose your back seats but gain a ton of trunk area. I think the trunk space is really what I'm looking for, so the one from JP seems the most attractive to me, and plus price to get it to my door is only $230.

Maybe I'm missing the point, but what do you gain my using the one from rearseatdelete.com?

Looks like only when your seats are down. I plan on ordering one this month. Whenever I get it I'll be sure to post a ton of pics.

Here's the installation manual: https://www.dropbox.com/s/59qtgbabnc...at%20Cover.pdf

@ichitaka05, does it say if the rear seat needs to be up or folded down to install or it doesn't matter? Also, does it say drilling is required?

Or does anyone who can read Japanese comment on this?

1. No, it doesn't need the seats to be out/down
2. Yes, you need a drill

Boooo. I don't want to drill. Guess I won't be buying. I'm not desperate for extra space.

You drop a lot of weight without making your car look and sound like a stripped out race car. I don't know how modded your car is but they get ridiculously loud with a full exhaust. I kept my rear seat in just for the sound attenuation properties. With this delete you retain a flat load floor with the seat back panel folded down too. You can use the rear seat area for storage on top or private storage underneath. It's really a slick system and looks very oem.

The privacy cover is nice too but doesn't look like something you'd have permanently installed. I'm not sure id want to have to throw everything in the trunk or passenger seat all the time.
