Tranny Question
I have a 2013 BRZ, and I'm replacing the clutch. My mechanic noticed some slight play in the pilot shaft of the transmission. Is this normal?

Once it's in, the pilot bearing holds it in alignment. That's it's job. Axial (in out) is a different story BUT... You would hear it whining badly way before you could see it.

So you are saying if you give a tranny a little axial and radial wiggle it is okay?
