Those are Recaro Sportster CS seats. You can buy them now for 1700 I believe. I have a set on the M3.

What's the parts list on that car? Is it just a different set of springs? Or did they change the dampers and/or antiroll bars?

That's the base version in vinyl. The leather or faux alcantara is a bit more. There's also heat option and carbon fiber backing.

Hmm I know the BMW version comes with side air bags. The ones that come from recaro are universal. I'm not sure how the seat occupancy sensor works with the brz. It should work with factory air bags if I remember correctly.

It's cool that they're doing an upgraded version, but I would hazard a guess that you can make a normal one better than this for a fraction of the cost.

Some people will pay any amount for some "STI" blings, logos and stickers.. . I wouldn't mind paying for the seats and rims though.

This is true. I just feel like with my fairly minimal upgrades, it's probably a better handling car than the tS.

But nothing holds value better than OEM. Ever watch the car auctions - The more you tune, you'll never get it back or if buying, even know if it was done right.
