Noob help please

Hey guys I'm a noob at choosing rims so please bare with me. I'm trying to find rims that stick out equally to the fender. Mostly looking for 18" rims. What would my offset be?

what you're not stating is if this is stock suspension, or aftermarket? will you be adding coilovers? will you be doing a more aggressive alignment on your current stup? etc etc.

all depends on width, what wheels were you considering, that would help is point you in the right direction, but the first post is pretty spot on in terms of stock suspension up front.

Wheel = wheel. Rubber = tire. Rim = outside edge of wheel (the part the tire is actually mounted to). Like "rim of a basketball hoop."

When you buy "wheels" you don't get "tire and rims," you get "rim and center section" because those are actual parts of a wheel.

Check out the wheel fitment sticky post at the top of this subforum. There is a big chart of wheel sizes with which ones are "flush" depending on ride height. Then you can click on specific wheel sizes and see examples of them on members' cars.

Here, I'm feeling helpful today: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7535
