With my complaints listed I do have to say that I love the new tail lights and wheels very sexy. As for the name change I have to agree that FR-S 86 would have been nice really wanted to keep that name.

As I said I am a new owner of a older FR-S but I love this car!
I'm still curious as to what this 5hp upgrade really means for this car. Seems like there's a bit more to the overall picture behind how the car will drive that you can't base it on just numbers alone. As far as the name, I'm glad there's not going to be anything "FR-S" being stuck on it. Makes it easier to identify the version of the car plus IMO it shouldn't have ever been called that in the first place.

First-gen will turn out to be the best of all. Sadly.

I was wondering the same thing. I've seen one in person and they look great.

I can't think of an SF movie that ever did real justice to a book it was based on.

Starship Troopers!
Other than the sex scene was almost word for word the book.

Sex scenes aren't as good in words.

And the fact that the original novel was written for teens (as much of Heinlein's work was) sort of precludes sex scenes as well.

I think Toyota could've followed like what Honda did with the S2000 AP1 to AP2. Even a slight increase in displacement from 2.0 to 2.2 would at least help with the torque figures or help out with overall powerband. I do welcome the changes in the interior, I have to be honest the exterior is a bit too busy for my taste.

In some ways they did do that, albeit more conservatively (as Toyota is). Much like with many other cars, people talked shit about the AP1-2 refresh. It's a vicious cycle.
