yep 3.0 ports are giving some people problems. Try the 2.0 and see if it helps

Thank you for this statement. I purchased this tune for the performance aspect, not to learn how to hack and read/write tables. I've had the tune since Sunday and been driving it spiritedly since, it's only gotten better, IMO. Have you opened her up yet in 3500 - 4000+ range?

Sure I have. I've wrapped it to 7K through the first 3 gears. It actually took a nice hop sideways at the 1-2 shift. That is where the noticeable power from the stock tune can be felt.

The most current XDF file is now available. Just re-download the off-the-shelf maps. It is included in the map folder once you unzip it

Again - it likely works with fewer reps/sets, but this method always worked for me.
I should clarify that with ignition set to ON I mean two clicks of the start button or key to ON but without actually starting the car. No need to waste gas flooring the car in neutral

I had sent a PM the other day asking this, but haven't gotten a response so I'll post up here.

What happens if you have Ecutek currently? The information on Vishnu's site just mentions that something is being worked on for Ecuteck, but nothing further.

Do you lose the license off the ECU if you use the Open Flash Tablet? Can you switch back to Ecutek if you need/want to for any reason?

On a different note, good to see @shiv@vishnu on here. I met you back in 2003 when you flew out to NJ to do a tuning session. Had that tune on my WRX for over 9 years until I sold it last year and it was still pulling like a freight train.

Do the maps online include the fix which protects the DI seals?

Thanks in advance and look forward to purchasing it (once support for my car is confirmed).

nonUSDM car support will come after US 6AT support. Which will probably be another 1-2 weeks from now. We have collected the ROMs so we should be in good shape to release maps for those applications. The Tablet itself will work in all FA20 applications around the world so Rombinhood's work is done. The rest is up to us to put together and XDF file and baseline maps.

And yes, all our off-the-shelf maps have the DI seal fix incorporated in it (based off the 01C ROM calibration).

.
Is this why no one has PM'd me back about selling me one to the UK? Because you can't support it yet?

@shiv@vishnu - what's the deal with datalogging? I know it's weeks off for the consumer but what have you been using? Is there any 3rd party software that is useful or any good if tuner pro isn't up to scratch?

What do any of the rest of you use?

Awesome stuff! Very excited to see Shiv in action for our cars, this definitely looks like the way to go for me. All the detractors on this thread remind me of my own business.

5% of my customers are super helpful and actually go out of the way help the business be successful.
90% of my customers quietly enjoy my services.
5% constantly make 'helpful' suggestions about my 'business model' that would have me closing my doors within a week.

Keep up the good work!

Interested to see the AT support, I'm in the jersey area and wouldn't mind you guys borrowing my car if you're ever round here.

So glad to see this product on the market, as soon as AT support comes you'll be taking my money!

How easy it for a dealer to see if I have flashed my ecu with this? This being done under the radar would be awesome.
