Data goes in to the Haltech but I think there are some fueling table adjustments needed to do it properly. I think there are a few videos out there that touch on the subject and explain it. I think if you are familiar with how it currently works this should be an easy transition. Personally I haven't done this before, hoping to learn soon enough what it will take to adjust the base map. |

the fuel sender is resistance based and should just work as its all tied into the dash, not the ECU.
Edit sorry, I didn't read everything....I have adjusted the fueling for injectors if you need help with that in the haltech.

I’ve actually added larger injectors and redone my base map, got that all sorted and been running great for a couple weeks now. I’ll eventually do e85 if it’s as simple as it seems and is actually making a bit more power. I’ll look into it some more when the time comes.

Been putting some miles in commuting to work this week and so far happy with the swap. With the laptop learning and adjusting base map I can't really tell any difference but it's mainly highway so I doubt it's tweaking much overall.
Only problem I'm still having is oil temp readings. Starts out at -40f and randomly will start to rise but no more than 140f. Then it will randomly go back to -40f or something silly like 20f and hang there a while again. Ambient has been 50-70s and coolant is having zero issues getting up to 190-200 range so I know oil can't be reading that low on temp. My thoughts are damaged sensor when installing? Maybe over-tightening or sealant got on the tip? Currently pressure readings are immediate and appear to be accurate from what a k24 should be so that makes it harder to troubleshoot. I'll probably pull the sensor this evening and take a look at it closer, maybe do some testing on voltage readouts as well. |

I had this same issue with the Oil sensor. The table was wrong. The calibration file from Haltech is not right, I had to go to Bosch's website and find the right resistance table. it doesn't work on voltage. I can send you the file if you dm me your email

That's what I was hoping for. I'll send a message real quick and see if that puts it right. I really appreciate it. |

ML fixed me up with the oil temp readings. Just took a drive around in varying conditions and am getting readings that are finally relevant to what I should be seeing. 160f in highway 3500 RPM and in traffic slow stuff around 200f. Ambient is 70f outside.
Really happy to have that one sorted out. |

The base map needs the proper calibration file for the oil temp sensor. The one that was preloaded on the map was scaled all wrong and so readings didn't match actual temps. I can email it over if needed. I think the file has been brought to Kpower's attention so maybe they will send out a proper base map or appropriate calibration file to update? |

It says I don't have permission or "insufficient permission".

Under Setup tab, Main Setup, then Functions tab, then select Oil Temp, then Calibration tab click the folder to upload the file. Click Apply and it's done. If it's not allowing you I'm not sure what would cause that. |
