I have done this with every vehicle in my family (When the vehicle comes home in the first week).

Park the car on the street on a day when everyone is out on their porches. Choose to go shootin, take all your guns with you, dont put them in cases, walk them out 2 at a time, load them into the car, bring 8k rounds of ammunition in military ammo boxes...Needless to say, people go out of their way not to hit any of my families vehicles.

Had some girl accidentally hit my sisters car (backing out of her driveway) some 3 blocks away, walked to our house, apologized, gave a copy of insurance and a letter claiming ownership of accident.

on topic:

Do list:
-Venti smoked tails (acquired, enroute)
-Venti smoked reverse light (acquired)
-Mud Flaps, Rally Armor (acquired, enroute)
-BlackVue DR550GW-2CH (Waiting on availability)
-GrimmSpeed Hood Struts (waiting $$)
-Backup Camera (acquired, waiting on wiring harness)
-Toyota 86 armrest from nigel-jdmparts (Waiting $$)
-Weathertech Front mats (acquired, Installed)
-Weathertech Trunk Mat (acquired, Installed)
-Tint front 30%, rear 15%, little windows 15%. (11/29 during holiday shopping)
-Escort Passport 9500CI (tax return, got 2 tickets in 2 weeks)
-JPM Coachworks (waiting for...a miracle "got no money for this")
---Alcantara Shifter Boot
---Alcantara Speaker Cover
---Alcantara Dash Panel
---Alcantara Knee Pad
-LED replacement bulbs
---side markers (acquired, enroute, white)
---Door+Interior (acquired, enroute, white)
---license plate (acquired, enroute, white)
---front turn signals (waiting for brightest from Diode Dynamics)

Once she is out of warranty...there will be performance upgrades!

Just pushed 4K in 2 months of ownership...I love this car. I hate (love) this thread, my DO List was substantially shorter before I started reading.

Oh I need winter tires soon. its 28degrees out right now.

Just order BlackVue DR500GW-HD. I will go to wallmart to find some roubing compound and will find some touch up paint tomorrow. I decide to fix it myself!

Happy to make your days. When it warms up I shall post installation pictures for the tails and sidemarkers.

Once I get the dashcam, radar detector, backup cam, and sharkfin I will tear the interior apart to install.

What a coincidence! I also met a fellow 86er, but I got a spoiler and he got a delete.

Nice to meet you today. I am super happy too!

Finished my "Break In" period earlier this week and changed the oil today.

1,126 miles, I was surprised at how dark brown the oil was. made me even more glad I decided to change it.

Went with Penzoil Platinum 0/20W and an OEM Subaru filter. Drained the oil with an oil extractor and tube down the dip stick opening. Easiest oil change I've ever done. Took 15 minutes and I never had to lay on the ground. Hahaaaha. Highly recommended.
