How would I go about fixing this dent?

Theres a small dent from a rock chip near the gas cap on the rear quarter panel.

Would this be DIY-able or is the rear quarter panel too hard to access for this kind of dent? I'm getting the car detailed, paint restored and opti-coated soon so I want to fix up the paint as much as possible.

It bends the light and is pretty noticeable. I got quoted $120-200 to fix it from a paintless dent repairer.

If the dentless process works, it's a deal. You can't traditional fix and paint for even close to that. Good luck. I know, my friend has an auto shop. He probably would charge at least 500$ to paint it.

In before totaled. Lol.

Take a loss on this one. That dent is going to throw off the weight distribution.

That's quite small. Usually $100 at most for PDR around my area.

I see it... I got the same dent on the right panel, a week after i got the car (likely from some asshole with a suv). Its so tiny that people cant notice it, but it know its there.. and i decided to just leave it. You seem to be in the same boat as me. Save your money for mods or to pay the loan is you have one.

Just get some one to use a PDR (paintless dent repair) they usually charge 80 to 100 per panel and they can get them out in about 20 minutes.

I would definitely not try to DIY if it was me. I had a similar dent above the front wheel well on my car. I spent about $100 for the paint less dent repair and the guy did a great job. Couldn't even notice it afterwards.

If you can't live with it being there, have a professional do it. I'd recommend checking out reviews for whoever you decide to have it done.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it.

However, if it bugs you, you should be able to find a PDR person to tap it out for less than $100.

That'll come out, but I'm gonna say they'll have to drill into a panel for that. Pulling it with glue might be an option, depends on how experienced the specialist is. I just pulled one above the gas cap and the guy was able to access it through the trunk.

I removed a bunch of these with a heat gun and canned air.
