Quick Note: DDM Tuning H1 bulbs doesn't fit the Mini H1 projectors.

Think we found the issue. His bulb vs my bulb.

This makes sense of the pattern he was getting since the focus point is different on the much shorter bulb.

Mine is the long one. Yes we ordered the same kit just a different bulb temperature. He contacted the retrofit source this morning and said they shipped him the wrong bulbs so they are shipping new ones to him.

What was the temp of the ones that were so much brighter? The comparison pics was night and day.

6k. But we will take more comparison pics because they should be both bright once he gets the correct bulbs.

So is our cutoff correct or should the dips line up so there is only one?

Also is it possible to "focus" the beam by moving the bulb in or our of the housing. I thought I recall the bulb sitting on something that coukd be moved via a nut.

From this pic below, I think the left one is almost perfect, except for that left side of the driver side that seems to be bowing down too much.

As for the right one, the driver side bows down the sides a bit too much on the right. The hotspot of the passenger side also seems a bit too high that the actual usable light gets lost in the cutoff.

So yeah, the top lines of both cutoffs should line up. The dips shouldn't though, the space between them should equal your headlight horizontal spacing.

I wouldn't really worry too much though, these are the Mini H1 projectors and they will rarely be perfect. I would say the left one is a 9, while the right one is 8.5.

@retrosmiths @civicdrivr

What do u think? The projectors were wide and i brought them in. I also lowered the beam to 21.5 in above the ground. My question is why is the left crisper and more blue cut off and the right side is just normal kind of

One of them needs rotation (see double side lines).

Right side, check bulb seating.
