Why should COVID19 be in a hurry to mutate - it's doing enough damage in its present form?

Went today. It was business as usual in the bar. Owners did some improvements. I had a couple screwdrivers. I won $160 on the lottery machine.

Felt good.

Within a couple minutes I won a $100 bonus, then a $40 bonus, then $160 on free plays. It was super fun. I should have quit earlier, but I didn't care if I gave it all back. It was just fun being out, and seeing familiar faces. Then the wife text me. I'd been out for 4 hours. Man Time flys. Time to go. Came out ahead.

where exactly does the mystery money come from? are you robbing the bar blind, or do they get reimbursed from some magical multinational conglomerate of idiots?

Ol @Sapphireho has been milking that machine for several months now. I figure the machine is busted and the State hasn't figured that out yet.

I've been thinking about running over there some weekend and scooping up some of that money. From what I'm hearing, I could make enough in a few hours to pay for my gas, meals and a motel room and have some left over.
