Obtaining ROM file

Hey received a tune from Delicious but the ROM file is incompatible with my ECU. This is due to the fact that my car is a 2015 car and the ECU is out of a 2014.

This is the error code that I receive:

The Chosen Rom file (US BRZ Manual (ZA1JD00c) ) is incompatible with (US BRZ Manual (ZA1JA01c ) ) and cannot be used. Choose another ROM

The following ROM file versions re compatible with this ECU

US BRZ Manual ZA1J500c
US BRZ Manual ZA1J700c
US BRZ Manual ZA1J900c
US BRZ Manual ZA1Ja00c
US BRZ Manual ZA1Ja01c
US BRZ Manual ZA1Jb00c
US BRZ Manual ZA1Jb01c
US BRZ Manual 2016 ZA1Jf00c
US BRZ Manual 2016 ZA1Jf40c

It is clear to me that I can take the file that I have and copy it over to the correct ROM; however; I cannot download the ROM I need from ecutek due to a "Missing Remote Folder"

Is there anyone out there that could send me the one of these ROM files or knows the fix to the "Missing remote folder" error?

much confusion and many wrong things in this post

if it s a delicious tune, it s locked
so you can t do anything, also D00C is incompatible to your car if it came out with an older calibration

you ask Delicious and they send you a correct version, you ve paid also for that

the missing remote folder is a thing related to master tuners, you aren allowed to receive custom roms (they are actually only example roms to help the tuners) from ecutek, but you can get all stock roms in ecutek from Help -ecutek update - Update rom list

Tuners SHOULD always ask for a read rom first to the customer, instead of guessing

Ah I see, I had assumed that the tune would be locked to the dongle and the tuner could access it as well but thats me just coming up with things.

So only master tuners can get the stock roms then? Because I went to the update section like you said here and thats where I got the "missing remote folder error"

My plan was to copy it over to the correct rom but it sounds like its all in vain and I need to wait for delicious.

stock roms are available to everyone who has an ecutekckit
so maybe ask ecutek support by email.. or maybe you already have the stock roms in c:/ecutek/proecuromfiles together with racerom patches

Yes, you can t read Delicious tune because it s locked
