You save the most weight by simply removing parts though. I mean, do you really need fenders and a hood?

Ya, well, to you and @ichitaka05, I remember the hard times when I was about your age - and we didn't have the internet, or smart phones to entertain us. And it was usually raining or snowing and the roads were all muddy and uphill both ways -

lol same..
Plus I actually did order some stuff from Japan two weeks ago, and it's still sitting in Kanagawa ... Normally EMS air freight car parts arrive in ~3 days between timezone changes and customs. Almost literally overnighted from Japan. Craziness.

I heard that round 2 of Covid19 is doing Japan quite a bit more damage than the first time or possibly the over-worked based ecomony is finally taking more percautions. EMS is quite amazing but, quite costly. Kind of odd they don't really have a middle-speed mail post for international. Japan Post rarely ships overseas. EMS or SAL. You never know with SAL though, 3 weeks or possibly 6 months. A mistake you don't make twice.

I heard/read somewhere that Japan is limiting planes coming from a bunch of countries, and because of that it's possible that a lot less throughput is available for outgoing parcels. So everything's probably queued up. Fortunately I'm not in a rush and mostly trust it sitting in a Japanese warehouse, versus being held by Fedex or UPS in the US.

I know this is car related but I didn't consider it important enough to post in the car related forum.
I was looking at cars I would like to buy after I win a lottery that I never play and I came across (not literally) this Cayman. Low kilometers, not white, black or grey. Advert says part of private collection. Looking through the pics OMG!! Is this the owner's garage?!? *sigh* Never mind about the car, just look at where it's parked. Can someone tell me what those things are mounted on the walls?

Ffs. Kinda obvious now with the light cones on the floor. Strange. My garage doesn't seem to have those.

The section they are organizing that way is all pretty equal distance to the shipping area, it is just where we store all our small components. So with this little area it doesn't matter if it is organized by usage. I used to keep it organized by grouping the isles into like parts. So you could usually guess without having to look up the location and have pretty good luck doing it. Now it is all mixed up. Drive parts are mixed with fluid control parts, and Honda engine parts, and electronics...........
