Triso's Ultramarine Aus Build
I live in Australia and have had my car for about 18 months and only recently in the last couple of months started to get into modding it. This is all new to me as I have never modded a car before or had one worth modding.
My previous cars consist of a 86 Ford Laser that my brother kindly wrote off for me, an 88 Corolla that blew the engine and a 98 Mitsubishi Verada which I then sold and picked up a 2012 Ultramarine Toyota 86 in late January 2013 after a four month wait. Most of my mods so far have just been cosmetic and majority of them will most likely remain that way. I am currently looking at getting a custom interior done and deciding on which side skirts and front lip to go with. My build will be slow and painful as I try to complete all the mods myself for the first time so I am sure a lot of mistakes will be made but that's all part of the fun! The first photo when I picked it up A few nights later SO here is my current list- Interior: Yospeed 86 centre console plaque Sound tube delete with the glove box plug Two dash panels painted orange LED upgrade (Waiting to be installed) Exterior: Custom exhaust from a local company (Soon to be replaced) Beatsonic V1 Shark fin Front radiator grille dipped white Redded out tail lights Toyota emblems painted black (In process) GT Radial tyres on stock rims (Soon to be dipped) MTEC Shift Springs (Waiting to be installed) Window Visors (Waiting to be installed) Under the hood: Ultrex performance front strut bar (Not happy with fitment, will replace with Grimmspeed) Project Mu Cosy Not much changed at all under here!! Managed to get the grille off and on without taking the front bumper off The indicators aren't very orange. Haven't been pulled over yet though! These mods are in my plans: Raceseng Shit Knob, Slammer or Ashiko? Raceseng or Beatrush reverse lock out Smoked side markers and front lens Yellow fog lights HIC Roof Spoiler TRD Canarads Five axis rear spoiler Beat rush master break cylinder K&N drop in filter CAI (still deciding which?) Grimmspeed pulley cover Grimmspeed front strut bar Light weight pulleys I am currently saving for an overseas trip as well as trying not to spend my entire pay each week on the group buys that are happening! Hopefully a few more things to add soon |
