The tire on the TRD has a thinner sidewall than the normal. They are basically trading tire sidewall for rim when they bump to the 18” wheel.

There's a new 6M/T with GT Black package nearby. I talked with their Costco rep whose first offer was below invoice since it's a year old car they don't want around. There's also another $1,500 cash back in my region on top.

No they aren't additive. As I said before, the OD of a tire doesn't change when you put a wheel in it. Well, assuming you aren't putting an 18in wheel inside a 17in tire. Hahaha

As others have said, no they are not! Its all about the tire (tyre) size.
Maybe this image will help.

Yeah, but probably only 5 mm.

I cant find many accurate pictures of this blue, but looks like a nice shade of light blue. Theres 2 youtube videos of a light blue 86 but those don't look the same as pictures.....so its hard finding an accurate representation.

compared to hyberblue it SEEMS like it may be a bit less flat/pastelish, and may be a tad darker. I would assume the difference is similar to oceanic vs ultramarine.

I think the difference would be more noticeable than oceanic vs ultramarin, and ablaze vs firestorm. But I do agree with you that it looks less pastel than hyperblue.

Wow. As much as I liked the '17 Thunder, Neptune takes it, no contest. I'm actually pleased that the intake manifold is back to black, red wasn't fooling anyone.

Hopefully, we get the trunk lid underside trim as shown so we don't have to go to a Subie dealer and hand over $50.

It's a beautiful, fashion-forward color for the car IMO. Not only is it $4K less than a TRD SE, it will be far more exclusive, lighter, have heated leather-trimmed seats, and for another $2K (tires, exhaust, intake, sway bars, brake pads, fluids) have an arguably better looking and quicker car than a TRD SE.

itsnot back to black manifold, all AT versions have the plastic manifold, but the manuals have the red one...I'd of liked the red one though with the AT, and the brembos and sachs...or a Ts with the AT

On a LED/ LCD screen, they look very similar. Neptune probably has some kind of metallic flake in it , versus Hyper blue did not. I'd like to see one in person

Just thought i'd mention i am a new owner of a thunder gray 2018 thanks to this thread. Flew up from socal all the way to Portland OR and just drove her off the lot. After all these years i have finally joined the club.

I'm gonna drive her down to socal for the rest of the weekend.

On the topic of the thread, the dealer had a recently shipped trd edition. It didn't look as high in person, but must say not really my thing.
