Isn't the hospital so much fun?

I remember sitting in the ER waiting my turn on two occasions (once with a broken collarbone, and once with 2 torn ligaments in my ankle) and people with bumps and bruises and the flu were all admitted before I was.

Didn't see that, probably would have picked one up. I use an iPad Mini I got for free as a book reader and also for audio books in the car. The newest version of Audible though won't install because you can't upgrade the Mini to 10.

Woot has them pretty frequently though now that they are an Amazon company. Guess I should keep a watch out there.

That doesn't surprise me. Triage would have persons with the flu (potentially life threatening) ahead of folks with injuries that appear more severe but may not be.

Hospital system I work at is slammed right now with flu in the ED. We've been at or above bed capacity since before Christmas.

Haha well it’s been exciting hr. He started zoning out & shaking. So instead of staying there, went to ER riding in the limo aka ambulance.

Ouch! I fractured collarbone & how painful it was. I don’t wanna know how painful it is to break a collarbone.

Same goes w torn ligaments. I’ve lightly torn hamstring... THAT sucked.

Ya people don't always get how triage works. Appearances can be deceiving.
